Assurant Solutions Appoints Customer Services Director

Assurant Solutions announces today the appointment of a new customer services director to its European operations centre in Cork.

Cristiano Braggion who joins from BMW Financial Services in Italy will lead the strategic and operational delivery of the claims and customer service functions for Assurant Solutions. He will also manage the business' service network and quality assurance teams.

Braggion will report to Chief Operating Officer, Marko Boettger who comments: "I'm delighted to have Cristiano join us. He has excellent knowledge of the warranty and creditor markets and a wealth of experience in contact centre management. Our centre in Cork serves our operations in the UK and Ireland, Italy, Germany and Spain. We have a diverse international workforce here having specifically recruited customer contact staff from each country so customers can speak to someone who shares both their culture and language. We are striving to deliver a market leading service solution and I'm sure Cristiano will be a driving force in its success."

Braggion has already moved to Cork from his home in Milan. He explains his reasons for joining Assurant Solutions: "I am impressed by the opportunity to be part of a truly client-focused business. We share the same mindset when it comes to recognising that in this industry, customer service is the most crucial link in the chain. Braggion has a career history of working in customer service and network management that spans 20 years. Prior to serving eight years at BMW Group, he worked for Mondial Assistance and Automobile Club of Italy.
